Ninth Division is ready for business!

Hello all and welcome to the Ninth Division blog. Happy you stopped by and hope you do often (or at least subscribe to the RSS feed).  My name is Andy Peters, let me give you the quick story behind Ninth Division.

Ninth Division is a creative product development house located in Omaha, NE.  We specialize in building fantastic web and mobile products.  Fantastic products that we want to use.  Something we can poor our hearts into and make the our passion of doing something great show in what we produce.

For the last two years I have been doing various part time contracts at night; web development in Ruby on Rails programming for the most part.  I always wanted to grow that into something I can put more energy into and grow it.  Growing up, I was in a family of entrepreneurs.  The last ten years I worked for Fortune 500 companies.  After finishing up my time at Sojern, Inc architecting their software, I began the first steps in making Ninth Division something for me to spend 100% of my time on.  Fast forward a few weeks later, I am writing on the company blog.  ;)

There are few immediate things Ninth Division will be doing.  We have been working with customers who want to build great iPhone/iPod Touch applications.  Also when I did part time “moonlighting” work, those loyal customers came along with me to Ninth Division.  So we will continue to work with them to expand on their great web applications.  Ninth Division is also working on producing a few iPhone applications and web products to be released the first half of this year.

… So yah, Ninth Division is a product company.  Building products for us and also customer partnerships to deliver on their product vision; the same way we would ours.  Email us if your interested in a product development partnership – info@ninthdivision.com.

This year is going to be great.  And I’ll report about much of what makes it great and the not-so-great here on the company blog.
