I had the same problem as you with accessing m.google.com/sync from my iphone, after a little search I found this solution on the net:
on your phone access the site m.google.com/sync, disregard the message that your phone is not supported, change then the language to english and you should come the right sync page then (at least for me and some other users with not english as the main language it worked)</description>
