Developing software at Ninth Division

Ever since I have joined Ninth Division, Andy has been asking me to start blogging. Honestly I could never think of anything that I thought anyone would care much about until now. This post will focus primarily on the technical aspects of our development environment.

The iPad is a big iPhone and that is why it is awesome

Apple’s latest creation in appliance based computing is upon us. The iPhone was just the beginning of how most people use computers will be changed. It ushered a monumental set of changes: a smart phone done right, a great web browsing experience the size of your hand, tons of utility from 3rd party app developers, … all just to name a few. These were the first of their kind to take off and get people who don’t even own a computer to take notice.

The state of Touch Cam address

We made Touch Cam free. We recently submitted a version 1.2 with some small changes; mainly adding more language support. It was rejected because of how we synchronize videos taken with Touch Cam and videos taken with the camera app.
