Available today an iOS App (iPhone and iPad) from Union Pacific Railroad. The app is focused on the Steam Engine which travels across the country and into various cities throughout the year. The app gets you access to the schedule, notifies if it’ll be in your area, a map for the current location of the steam engine, photos, videos, and a handful of details about the steam engines traveling across the country.
Combining new technology and Union Pacific’s historic steam locomotives, the UP Steam app offers users the chance to keep up with the locomotives on their latest excursions.
We had a great time working together with our Union Pacific team to make this app happen.This was a big app with many moving part. We worked with a very creative team driving innovative ideas at Union Pacific.
The App is currently being featured by Apple in the iTunes App Store as a Featured App in the Travel section. In addition, it has scored a 5 star review from 20 reviewers. Thanks to everyone who has downloaded and found it that great. Keep a look out for more.
