So I accidentally started an event called: Beer && Code. I was bored earlier at Scooters and didn’t want to go home. So I figure, I like a tasty beer, needed to continue to code and wanted some friendly company. I posted on twitter and sent a IM to a few friends and so was born: Beer && Code.

Heartland Developers Conference 2010: iPhone Development Lab

This week marks the week of the local Heartland Developers Conference (HDC). We’ve been asked again this to come back; thank you everyone for asking for us back. This year we won’t be giving a usual talk. Instead we will be running a lab teaching all the important topics of building an iOS app.

Infotec 2010 Presentation

For those of you who weren’t at Infotec, I spoke about the pitfalls in Mobile Development. The room was packed with (our best guess) around 70 people in the room. I have to say, I was flattered. I figured it didn’t suck too much because only one person I noticed was a sleep. 1:70 people sleeping in a presentation is good numbers.
